Note from the Artist: I am very fond of this simple little watercolour which sums up so much of my experience of in situ landscape work. It was a typical rainy day in west Wales. Dovey Junction is a small railway junction near the River Dovey, west of Machynlleth.

Note from the Artist: I lived in Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire, for twenty years. The town is about eight miles from the city of Bath, to which I went frequently. I have a long-standing interest in old buildings, and this includes ordinary buildings as well as the more spectacular historic sites.
